Do you have time or talent to lend?

Capital City Community Centers relies on the dedication and generosity of volunteers to deliver many of our programs.  Volunteers bring a wealth of expertise, time and caring that allow our staff to help more people with fewer resources.  As a volunteer, you can play one of many important roles, including:

  • Assisting with food donation deliveries.  Volunteers help with unloading, sorting and storing food and other household essentials that are distributed to needy Providence families.
  • Helping around the holidays with food basket preparation.  Volunteers join together to create food baskets to be distributed to families at Thanksgiving and throughout the December holidays.
  • Leading educational programs for our Before and After School Program youth.  Volunteers with a particular expertise in finance, computer, music, art, dance, crafts or athletics are needed to deliver educational programs to youth ages 5-16 during the after school hours and during summer vacation.
