Capital City Community Centers (Cap City) is a non-profit social service agency in the heart of Providence, RI. For nearly seventy years, we have remained committed to helping members of our community live healthy and productive lives. Our mission is to support individuals and families who have difficulty across life domains with the basic needs of food, housing and clothing to child and senior care.

Smith Hill Block Party !

Capital City Community Centers, along with other nonprofit organizations, businesses and residents of the Smith Hill community are holding a block party.  It will be held on Wednesday, August 31st., from 4:00 until 7:00 pm. at 31 - 40 Candace Street (between Bernon and Chalkstone).  There will be a DJ, live entertainment and tours available. Meet with social service agencies and local businesses to find out more information about your community and what it offers.   Some of the booths will have information for you on Healthcare, Employment opportunities, Educaiotn and child care, Elderly services and Transportaion.   There will also be free food and drinks, raffles and prizes and activities for the kids.  It is sure to be a wonderful time for all.  Hope to see you all there!
